In the heart of Bangkok shopping action
When it comes to a signature Bangkok shopping experience, you will always hear about the gigantic sprawling weekend “Chatuchak Market”. With its over 15,000 booths spread across 35 acres, the throbbing nerve center of Bangkok’s shopping scene is fondly known as “JJ Market” to most locals.
This world-famous weekend market is the largest outdoor market in Thailand, and possibly in the world, renowned for its widest variety of merchandise. This hustling and bustling Bangkok landmark is simply humongous, monumental, gargantuan.
Within the Chatuchak Market, our gallery is newly located in a quiet and tidy area named Jatujak Plaza, or JJ Plaza, easily accessible, next to the massive JJ Mall Shopping Complex with its ample car park, near the MRT subway Kamphaeng Phet Station.
Jatujak Plaza is a hidden gem, the best-kept secret for shopping in Chatuchak as it isn’t just for weekends: it’s open on weekdays, actually daily except Mondays.
You will not melt under the scorching Thai sun, as the shops in the Plaza are air-conditioned. Over the years JJ Plaza, with its now fancy and attractive shop windows, has become a popular marketplace and rendezvous for furniture, home décor items, lighting, art and souvenirs, attracting architects, interior designers, homeowners as well as hotel and hospitality business entrepreneurs. We simply love its ambiance, and we look forward to thriving there.
Please come and visit.
Serendipity in action
Our gallery was originally founded in 2005 by the late charismatic Valie De Roualle, a long-time French resident in Bangkok with a very keen eye and a passion for Art.
In early 2005, Valie De Roualle discovered the talent of a French compatriot, Valérie Goutard, who was creating striking bronze sculptures in her Bangkok home as a mere hobby. She fell in love instantly with the work of Valérie Goutard, who from now on would be artistically known as “Val”. She decided to showcase Val’s sculptures at the OP Place Shopping Plaza located in the heart district of the city, close to the Chao Phraya River, next to the world-famous Mandarin Oriental Hotel: Art to Art Gallery was born.
Since its opening in 2005, our gallery has evolved under the curatorship of Valie De Roualle, who during all these years discovered an impressive number of creative talents, until she sadly left the Art scene in 2016.
A branch opened in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in 2014 has been shut down recently, owing to the major renovation of this iconic Hotel until the end of 2019.
As the OP Place Shopping Plaza has been earmarked for redevelopment in 2021, our gallery moved to JJ Plaza in the Chatuchak Market in mid-2020.
Over the years our gallery has participated in a number of International Art Fairs in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai.

It’s all about passion
We have always been passionate about art, and we exhibit only what we love and deem remarkable.
We aim at promoting regional talents and pledge ourselves to focus on both emerging and established contemporary artists from all over Asia. We have gathered an extensive and comprehensive selection of thrilling works coming mainly from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and China.
Interestingly, our gallery also welcomes works by a variety of foreign artists in residence in Thailand. In keeping with the spirit of the founding gallery, we are keen to provide a platform for them to express their creativity and ideas while they are staying in the Kingdom and drawing their inspiration from an exotic environment.
When selecting works of art we deal with the artists directly, and we choose exclusively their very best works without being bound by any restrictive contracts.
Quality & variety
Our gallery aims at standing out for the quality of its artworks and the wide variety of the themes, dimensions and mediums proposed – oil, acrylic, denim, collage, brass, bronze, aluminium, fiberglass, etc – .
We are constantly looking for eye-catching artworks, and as we praise creativity, the themes of our pieces are as original and varied as the artists who created them.
All our works of art are therefore unique and have their own stories.
As we commit ourselves to discover top quality works of art, we aim at the same time at offering them at affordable prices.
Our price range befits all budgets.
